We provide a comprehensive range of supportive assistance that enables the individual to maintain independence. We also encourage the use of existing organic supports and foster involvement in social as well as community activities.

 

Home First understands mental illness and how important it is to restore and rebuild a positive sense of identity apart from one’s condition.

Service focus includes but is not limited to:

• Providing instructive assistance

• Performing household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, routine housekeeping chores, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and bill paying).

• Companionship with social and recreational activities

• Emotionally supportive companionship

• Cueing/coaching with basic hygiene functions
